National Employee Appreciation Day is Friday, March 6, 2026. Celebrated every first Friday in March, it's a day where employers thank employees for their hard work and recognize their achievements.
Information and Educational Technology (IET) is the central technology organization at UC Davis. IET staff work diligently, often behind the scenes, to empower and enable the campus community to learn, teach, research and work.

IET will have a table at the upcoming Thank Goodness for Staff (TGFS) picnic on May 6, 2026, at Russell Field. The 46th annual event is attended by more than 7,000 UC Davis staff members and serves as the biggest staff appreciation event of the year. Current and potential campus partners are encouraged to stop by, say hi, and learn more about what IET is all about!
