Registration Open for the 2026 UC Tech Annual Conference

Registration is now open for the 2026 UC Tech Annual Conference, held July 8-10 at UC Merced. The yearly event provides faculty and staff an opportunity to connect with technology-minded colleagues, share accomplishments, and learn about innovation and collaboration across the UC system.

Registration for UC Tech 2026 costs $300 per person. Before you sign up, be sure to check with your supervisor about your unit’s attendance and travel policies. Registration is expected to close in mid-May.

Register for UC Tech 2026

Registration for the technology conference is a two-part process this year. Your registration is NOT finalized until BOTH steps are completed.

  1. Pay registration fee in Transact.
    1. When you begin registration, you’ll land on the UCOP Events homepage. Select UC Tech Conference Registration, fill out your information, and click Add to cart. You’ll be redirected back to the homepage. 
    2. Click Checkout or the cart icon to proceed to payment. 
    3. After payment, check your email for your receipt. Copy the Receipt Number. 
  2. Complete your registration in Guidebook. 
    1. Use the link in your Transact email receipt to access the registration form. 
    2. Provide your preferences and Receipt Number to finalize your registration.

Session Proposals  

If you submitted a session proposal, notifications for acceptance are expected to go out in mid-April.
