Your VPN Login Experience Has Changed
Starting Monday, January 13, 2025, members of the campus community accessing VPN services may have a different login experience. Following last week's emergency maintenance, you will benefit from enhanced security features that protect your identity and data from fraudulent access.
What You Can Expect
You may be prompted to select your @ucdavis email address and sign in with your UC Davis username and password.
Next, you may receive a Duo push and you will need to confirm whether this is your device before your VPN connection can be established.
For step-by-step instructions (with images), see: https://kb.ucdavis.edu/?id=11560. For questions, contact IT Express (M - F, 7 a.m. - 6 p.m.).
The campus Virtual Private Network service will be unavailable starting at 5 p.m. PST on Friday, January 10, 2025, through 8 a.m. on Monday, January 13 while Information and Educational Technology (IET) performs emergency maintenance.
Virtual Private Network (VPN) provides an encrypted connection between your off-campus computer and the campus network. Students, faculty, and staff can use VPN to securely access departmental servers, data sources, and other campus services.
