Digital Lab Pilot Gives Students 24/7 Access to Course-Required Software

This spring, UC Davis students have a new digital resource at their disposal: the new UC Davis Digital Lab Pilot provides a flexible, cost-effective way to access course-required software from any location at any time. The pilot is open through the end of the academic year and complements other service offerings from Information and Educational Technology (IET).

As a pilot, this initiative relies on feedback from students and other stakeholders to ensure the final service offering meets community needs. Members of the UC Davis community can use the Pilot Feedback Form to share their thoughts through the end of the academic year.

Students: Meet the UC Davis Digital Lab

Whether you are working on a Chromebook at a coffee shop or using a tablet in your dorm room, you can now tap into high-powered, course-required software from anywhere, at any time via the UC Davis Digital Lab Pilot.

  • The lab is coming to you. Work or study from any location, on campus, or at home.
  • Always open: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Unlike traditional physical computer labs, the Digital Lab is available 24/7*.
