UC Davis Canvas Login Changes Coming 12/1

Starting Monday, December 1, 2025, logging in to UC Davis Canvas will look a bit different for students, faculty and staff. Instructure, the vendor providing our Canvas learning management system, is making updates to the login experience.

Access to UC Davis Canvas will not be impacted, and your login process, username, and password will not change.

What is Changing?

Starting Monday, December 1, 2025:

  1. When you navigate to https://login.canvas.ucdavis.edu/ and click the UC Davis Log In button under the UC Davis Faculty, Students & Staff section, an Instructure/UC Davis page with text reading, “Redirecting” will briefly display.
