Secure Email Authentication
If you use campus email, and receive an email from ithelp@ucdavis.edu regarding the need to secure your email password, follow the instructions on this page to ensure you do not have an interruption in service.
No email will be lost, and you will be able to access email through MyUCDavis or Geckomail.
To change the setting in your email program:
1. Identify the email program you use.
2. Select the corresponding instructions from the list on this page.
3. Change the SSL setting on each email program you use. This will ensure secure transmission of your email password.
