Virus Filtering for Departmental Email Server

Integrating your email server with the central campus anti-virus servers poses little administrative burden to campus unit technical staff and does not require additional hardware or software costs. To integrate your email server:

Send the following via email to ithelp@ucdavis.edu:

1. Request that IET scan email coming into your department's email server for viruses
2. Your name and home department
3. All hostnames that the departmental email server might be known as in DNS
